Sam Khan
Founder and Chief Executive Officer · CISA, CRISC
More than two decades inside the institutions that spend the most on security: security engineering, incident response and architecture at the Federal Reserve System, then a decade of governance, risk and compliance leadership at Guggenheim Partners and as a cyber risk assessment director serving Fortune 100 organizations.
He has assessed banks, card networks, health insurers, credit bureaus and technology companies on site, and carried the findings into their board rooms. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Dr. Kashmala Khalid
Co-Founder and Managing Partner · Healthcare and defense programs
A physician trained in medicine and surgery. During her hospital training, a breach took the systems down: the emergency department slowed to paper and surgeries were postponed. She made protecting hospitals her second vocation.
She brought the discipline of surgery with her: nothing skipped, nothing assumed, every step verified. She leads our healthcare and defense programs and is the reason our controls are designed with clinicians rather than against them.

Chief Commercial Officer
An electrical engineer from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Six years at Argonne National Laboratory advising the US Department of Energy on energy storage, then business development at AllCell Technologies through growth and an acquisition. He builds the partnerships that let a regulated business work with one partner instead of five.
